Vegan Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 60g cocoa powder
  • 140g of granulated sugar
  • 70g light brown sugar
  • 400ml tin of full fat coconut milk
  • 400ml almond milk
  • pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Whisk all the ingredients in a suitable bowl until there are no lumps. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  2. Whisk the mixture again thoroughly before pouring into your ice cream maker with the ice cream paddle already fitted. Churn for approximately 20-30 minutes or until your ice cream begins to thicken.
  3. For a soft scoop serve immediately or place in a suitable container in the freezer until firm
